Morning Thieves, fresh off their new EP “Wrongside”, are a fantastic guitar based alt-rock band that have become known for their powerful live performances and infectious songs. They will be hitting the stage at 10pm followed by KCLR at 11:30pm.

DJ Kenny Bounce is not just a DJ but an amazing musician, multi-instrumentalist and producer. It’s always a wicked vibe to have Kenny spinning the night. Kenny starts spinning at 9:30pm!

So this cover is a homage to a great Canadian rock band by the name of Triumph. We got the chance to play for them at an event in summer where a street was named after the group, “Triumph Lane”. We were invited to choose one of their songs and do our own interpretive cover. A lot of the obvious singles were taken, so I decided to go a little deeper into the catalog and find something that spoke to me lyrically and something the band could have some fun with musically. Hope you dig our funk spin on this Canadian progressive rock gem.

On another note, we’re going to be touching down this Friday, Dec 16th at the same venue where the “Triumph Lane” event was held. The Lionheart British Pub (3221 Derry Rd. West, just west of Winston Churchill Blvd in Mississauga) has invited us back to perform as part of our fundraising campaign. We’ll be dropping some serious funk starting at 9:30pm! If you’re in the area, we’d love to see you!
